We offer two different paths to approach your PT degree: Residential and Flex

Residential

  • Ideal for those who want a weekday class schedule and an immersive, on-campus student experience
  • Blended coursework with online components and in-person sessions plus weekday labs
  • Requires 12-19 credit hours per term over 8 trimesters
  • You can live near campus and attend school during the week

Flex

  • Ideal for those who want flexibility to accommodate work schedules and other obligations, or live a distance from campus.
  • Online coursework plus on-campus clinical labs over select weekends each month
  • Requires -9-12 credit hours per term over 12 trimesters
  • You can live away from campus and travel to campus on weekends

Clinical Orthopaedic Residency

Clinical Orthopaedic Residency

Gain the expertise and clinical hours you need to specialize in orthopaedics. Featuring 160 hours of one-on-one mentorship and 1,500 patient treatment hours, this program combines online coursework with in-person seminars and skills labs at our St. Augustine campus.

Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship

Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship

A level beyond our Residency program, this Fellowship prepares you to sit for your Manual Therapy Certification exam through USAHS’ Continuing Professional Education program. The Fellowship program also features 160 hours of one-on-one mentorship, plus 850 patient treatment hours.

Build competence and confidence in our Centers for Innovative Clinical Practice (CICPs) where you will practice clinical skills in realistic scenarios in simulated hospital and home environments to prepare you for your clinical placements. USAHS is one of the few higher education institutions in the country with simulation labs dedicated to the rehabilitative sciences using actual medical equipment and cutting-edge EdTech tools.
